Improves package integrity and optimizes cost by avoiding these situations: If the viscosity changes without adjusting the applicator, too little adhesive could be applied (package failure) or too much applied ( added cost). No need to have an operator constantly checking application – set it and forget it.

Results in reduced customer downtime. Char or gels can cause the applicator nozzle to clog so that either no adhesive or a reduced amount of adhesive is despensed. If no adhesive is despensed, then the operator has to shut down the line and replace the nozzle. If a reduced amount is despensed, it might not seal the package or cause a failure during shipping or distribution.

Less adhesive can be used to seal the case or carton, resulting in “better mileage”.
